Mr. Bear recently met a cool purple party dude, named Reggy!
He visited Jerry Uht Park in Erie, so we asked him to visit us in the studio while he was in town.
We invited him on the show and interviewed him, and had a great time!
We even got a whole show out of it, and afterward we followed him around later at the ball park to get some excellent video of Reggy in action!

During the course our interview, Reggy invited us to take part in a mascot peace rally on the steps of Philedelphia's City Hall, on August 15th 2003.
We had a blast, while marching for peace and mascot rights, everywhere!
We spent about an hour walking around, meeting and greeting, schmoozing and goofing around.
It was great, and a fun frolic of a time was had by all!

At this time, we met the owner of a company who's goal is to promote mascots and mascot events.
His name is Dave Raymond, former Philly Phanatic!
He helps mascots in part by holding a Mascot Boot Camp, which teaches people,
and of course silly bears, how to be proper mascots!
Once again, Mr. Bear was invited to do something new and exciting he had never done before!
So he packed himself into a big blue sack, and shipped himself down to Delaware,
to take part in this new adventure!
Things were fantastic, he was taught the basics of mascotting, and the business of mascotting.
There were meetings, training courses, speeches, and of course free breakfast and lunch!!!
Mr. Bear even helped perform in a halftime show at a University of Delaware volleyball game!
Strangely enough, we found that Mr. Bear can dance, albiet not very well, but brown bears can dance!
Below is a picture of Mr. Bear hanging out with a few of his new found friends and classmates.

Listed from left-top to the right are, Dave Raymond, Some reporter guy, J-Bear, Lighthouse Pete the Pirate, Kickeroo, Slapshot the Lion, Hip-Hop, Buster, yoUDee, and Orbit!
Don't mind the guy standing there holding a big fuzzy head, he was a real person from a local Delaware TV station who was there to learn about and do a story on mascots!
All in all a great time was had by all, and except fopr Mr. Bear being tired, and late for class, he loved it!!!

Mr. Bear is so happy to have attended and even graduated his first class, ever!
He made lots of new friends, and learned alot, and if you can believe
that an old bear can learn new tricks, then our work here is done!

Mr. Bear would also like you to know that all images on these pages are copyright of their respective owners/companies. All Reggy pictures, Philadelphia - "Where is the Love" Peace March, and Mascot Boot Camp pictures are copyright of the
